I’m Hollie Jo, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Play Therapist. I am trained in EMDR including an emphasis in child/adolescent EMDR. My journey began in the healthcare field, where I spent over two decades working as a nurse in a safety-net hospital. This experience provided me with a deep understanding of how our physical health and mental health are intertwined. As I transitioned into focusing on mental health therapy, I aim to provide a comprehensive care approach that addresses the whole person believing that wellness comes from harmonizing the mind, body and spirit.
If you’re seeking a therapist who offers a Christian-informed perspective, I invite you to connect with me. My faith is a guiding light in my life, providing me with strength and compassion. However, I respect the unique worldview and beliefs of each client. My goal is not to impose my perspectives but to create a supportive, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions. Whether you share my faith or hold different beliefs, I am committed to meeting you where you are and supporting you on your journey towards healing and wholeness.
For me, therapy is more than a profession—it’s a passion. My journey towards becoming a clinician was not just a professional choice, but a personal one. I realized through my own healing journey that understanding and navigating our interior world is not just a skill but an art that can profoundly impact our lives. Whether you’re facing a specific problem or seeking deeper understanding of yourself, my role is to walk beside you and offer the support and tools you need.
In our sessions, we will work collaboratively to address your concerns, identify your goals, uncover your strengths, and develop strategies that empower you. I prioritize creating a safe, welcoming, and warm environment. I utilize a variety of evidenced-based therapeutic techniques, tailoring my approach to meet the unique needs of each client.
I’m Anna Bertholf, LPC, and I’m passionate about fostering genuine human connections. My journey began with an undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Kansas (Rock Chalk) and advanced with an M.S. in Clinical Counseling from Emporia State University.
With almost a decade of experience in sales and marketing, I discovered my true calling lay in the power of human connection. While thriving in sales, I realized that my greatest successes stemmed from genuine listening and fostering relationships. This revelation led me to seek a career where I could make a more profound impact on the lives of others.
Rooted in my Christian faith, I’m committed to working alongside individuals from all walks of life, integrating spiritual principles into my counseling practice when desired. My approach is anchored in evidence-based methods and tailored to each client’s unique needs. Together, we’ll set goals and embark on the journey to achieve them, drawing strength from each other along the way.
